Organist thes Jane Click of Marion and Wendell Walke of Marion, cousin of the bride, was vocalist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Mason, 654 E. Farming St.

Mr. and Mrs. James Williams of Prospect and Mr. and Mrs. Star Tots Today is the first birthday of Jennifer Jean Spicer.

Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. (Brenda) Spicer, 774 Bennett St. Grandparents Mr.

and Mrs. Harold Albright, Mrs. Dorothy Thomas and Richard E. Spicer of Marion. Great-grandparents are Mrs.

Goldie Albright, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chapman, Mrs. Paul Steele and Earl Spicer of Marion. Celebrating, her fifth Nicole birthday Kelder, daughter of Mrs.

Christine Kelder of Marion and Frank Kelder of Walton, N.Y. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John of Waldo and Mr. and Mrs.

0.E. Welker of Houston, Texas. Great are Mrs. Clara Hull of Waldo and Mrs. Hilda Filiberto of Conesus, N.Y.

Cathryn Dianne Evert celebrates her third birthday today. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Donna) Evert, 1410 Ashley Drive. Grandparents are Mr.

and Mrs. Martin Lewis of Marion and Mrs. Marilyn Evert of Marion. Great-grandmother is Mrs. Alama Eddy of Marion.

Galion Church Scene Of Rite Catherine Ann Hackworth and James Roy Springer were united in marriage, in an afternoon Galion Church of the Nazarene. Rochester, nephew of the Clionian Club Reveals Officers, Hears Program The Rev. Paul Hayman conducted the double -ring ceremony. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs.

William J. Hackworth of Mount Gilead. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. Dale W. Springer Jr.

of New Washington. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Alta Carrier of New Washington, -aunt of the groom. Pianist was Elain Bockbrader of Fostoria, cousin of the groom. Mrs.

Joan Long of Mount Vernon, aunt of the groom, was soloist. The new Mrs. Springer wore a gown of white polyester knit trimmed with Venice lace and sonde pearls neckline, along fitted the empire Queen bodice, cap sleeves and hemline. The skirt flowed into a chapel-length train and her fingertip -length veil of bridal illusion was attached to a headpiece of Venice lace and seed pearls. Her bouquet white carnations and stephanotis with silk rose-colored sweetheart roses and rust color baby's breath.

Honor attendant was Mrs. Lesley Kalb of New Washington. She wore a crepe gown of Nile green. Wearing identical attire were the bridesmaids, Mrs. Valerie Powell and Mrs.

Tami West Mount Gilead, sisters of bride, and Mary Springer of New Washington, sister of the groom. Flower girl was Erin Foos of Marion, cousin of the bride. She wore a Nile green dress with a white eyelet collar. Best man during the Aug. 25th rite was Jason Kalb of New Cardington Washington.

Ushers were Dan Shealy of New Washington, John Sponseller of Rochester, Mrs. N.Y., brother-in-law of the fulllength groom, and William C. Hacktrain. worth of Mount Gilead. sleeves Andrew Sponseller of Mrs.

Floyd Hofacker was selected as president of Clionian Club during the past meeting at Women's Club Home. Other new officers presented to the club the nominating committee are: Mrs. Harold Jones, vice president, Mrs. Harry V. Seiter, treasurer, Mrs.

Harley Lewis, recording secretary, Mrs. Lloyd Pickering, corresponding secretary. Hobbies Shared Members of MKCC Seniors shared their hobbies at the past gathering at Caledonia American Legion Hall. Geneva Cain, Hazel Markey, Delphia Ross, Bernice Fields, Elsie Miller and Mary Alice Lyons displayed their poetry and travel momentoes during the meeting which featured a carry-in dinner. Members attended the recent Swiss Festival in Sugarcreek.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Koehler will present a slide narration of their recent tour of Israel at the next meeting at 1 p.m. Oct. 18.

He is engaged in dairy farming. After a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, the newlyweds are living at 314 W. Main New Washington.

Family Living Mrs. Wayne Butterworth, chairman of the Memorial Forest Shrine, owned by Ohio Federation Women's Clubs, represented the federation at recent annual Gold Mothers Star Pilgrimage. It was reported Marion City Schools has received the necessary forms for students to enter the club's contests and scholarship programs.

Society Notebook Activities Planned Marion Recreation Senior Citizens has announced its activities for next week (Oct.

8). Unless otherwise stated, all events are at Marion Towers. On Monday, lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the Council on Aging Committee will meet at 12:15 p.m. Progressive euchre will be at 1 p.m.

On Tuesday, senior citizens will have stained glass class and will make items for the bazaar at 10 a.m. andmench pool will be 11 a.m. will at 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be at 1 p.m. For Wednesday, a "koffee" klatch and walking exercises will be at 10 a.m.
